Today, Appalachian pulled off one of the biggest upsets in history. They were leading at half time and, despite a second half comeback by Michigan, blocked the final field goal attempt with seconds remaining to win 34-32. App proved that they are a force to be reckoned with and deserve the respect they've earned. Coach Moore is amazing. He's a wonderful coach and a great man. We are so lucky to have him. I'm so proud of my team!

Well, as you may know, Hurricane Dean has been ravaging the Caribbean and Mexico for the last few days. It's the strongest Category 5 storm to make landfall in decades and it's torn up and flooded a lot of places. Since my favorite Winchester brother's name is Dean, I couldn't just let this pass without some sort of remark on the subject. This past weekend, a friend of mine got married (Congrats GT!) and two of my friends and I drove up together. We were talking about the hurricane and it's coincidental name. We decided that Dean Winchester would be quite happy that his name was attached to such a powerful storm. Then I came up with the idea to make a layout based on that and whimsicalangel came up with the tag line.

This layout is in no way meant to make light of what this storm has and is still doing to the area. In fact I am praying daily for those individuals that have been affected by this storm. It is only a bit of a dirty joke in honor of a character I love dearly and his odd sense of humor.
